Does the app require a subscription?
Pars Player itself is completely free to download and use with no ads. However, to access streaming content, you need an active IPTV subscription from a provider that supports Xtream Codes API or provides M3U playlists. Pars Player does not sell or provide any streaming content — it serves purely as a player for your existing subscriptions.
How do I add playlists?
You can add playlists in three ways: enter your Xtream Codes API credentials (server URL, username, password), paste an M3U URL directly, or use the web panel at parsplayer.com to manage playlists from your computer. All playlists sync automatically across your devices when you sign in with Google or Apple.
How secure is my data?
Your data security is our top priority. All data is stored on secure servers in Germany (EU) operated by Hetzner, encrypted at rest with AES-256 and in transit with TLS 1.3. We never sell or share your personal information with third parties. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time.
Can I manage playlists from a web browser?
Yes! Pars Player offers a web-based management panel at parsplayer.com. Sign in with your Google account, device credentials, or scan a QR code from the app. You can add, edit, and delete playlists from any desktop or mobile browser, and changes sync to your devices automatically.
What streaming formats are supported?
Pars Player supports Xtream Codes API for live TV, VOD (movies), and series. It also supports M3U and M3U8 playlist formats. The player handles common video codecs including H.264, H.265 (HEVC), and supports HLS, MPEG-DASH, and RTMP streaming protocols for broad compatibility.
